GET IN THE GAME
BUILDING TEAMS  & COMMUNITY

As we kick off our new season, I’m excited to introduce our Season-Long Character & Team-Building Activity Calendar—a program designed to bring our entire California District 54 Little League family together both on and off the field.

Each month, we’ll step up to the plate with a theme inspired by national observances that highlight the core principles of Little League:

  • Teamwork
  • Fun
  • Integrity
  • Community
  • Inclusion

Players, siblings, parents, coaches, and volunteers will all have the chance to get in the lineup through two ways to participate1) joining a league-wide event or 2) completing the activities individually at home or in the community.

Throughout the season, we’ll spotlight standout teams and players—celebrating big swings, small wins, and every act of character in between. Together, we’re ready to knock this season out of the park by building strong athletes, great teammates, and an even stronger community.

Purpose:
The purpose of Get in the Game: Building Teams and Community is to unite players, families, and volunteers through meaningful activities that strengthen character, connection, and Little League values all season long.

Goal: The goal is to create a fun, baseball-themed yearlong program that builds teamwork, fosters community pride, and celebrates the positive impact our league makes both on and off the field.
