History of California District 54 Little League:
District 5 was created in 1958 as one of the original 33 California districts. In 1966, District 54 was spun off from District 5.
District 6 was created in 1958 as one of the original 33 California districts.
District 7 was created in 1958 as one of the original 33 California districts.
District 11 was created in 1958 as one of the original 33 California districts.
In 1966, District 52 was created as a spin-off from District 11.
District 54 was created in 1966. It was comprised of teams that previously competed in District 5.
In 1992, District 11 was split off from District 54.
In 1984, the original District 11 was dissolved, and its leagues were placed in Districts 44 and 52.
In 1992, District 11 was re-created as a spin-off of District 54.
As of 2025 there are 73 Districts in California
We are Section 4 in Northern California and one of seven (7) sections in Nor Cal
Southern California has ten (10) sections
