Hello, I am Larry Gomez. Kathy and I were married in 1980 in San Jose. We have two boys who both played Little League. I started umpiring in 1998 and went to the Little League West Region One-week Umpire School in 1999. I returned to the one-week school in 2006. I returned again to the, now renamed, Academy in 2022. I began instructing at West Region in 2009. Since then, I instructed at the Mechanics Clinic, Rules Clinic, UIC Train-the-Trainer clinic, and the Academy. I was a local league UIC for six years and then became a District UIC for the next eleven years. I umpired at the West Region Little League Baseball Regional Tournament in 2023. Our oldest son is married with two children and lives in Fair Oaks. Our other son is married with two children and lives in Roseville. We moved to the area to be closer to our grandchildren (ages three to seven). I look forward to being on the district staff.
